Sansevero Chapel and the Veiled Christ in Naples

The most mysterious, seductive and highest Baroque art

The most complete volume on the Sansevero Chapel Museum in Naples made thanks to the new and exclusive photographic campaign by Scripta Maneant. The Sansevero Chapel, that is a treasure chest of baroque beauty, fascination, and mystery, preserves the Veiled Christ, the sculptural masterpiece by Giuseppe Sanmartino (1753), displayed in these pages with a richness of details and angles that offer a suggestive experience and a strong emotional effect. With the aim of sharing the beauties of Italian artistic heritage with readers and with those who protect our treasures, Scripta Maneant has handed over the new photographic campaign to the Museum as a valid tool for scientific survey and for artistic preservation
