La Cappella Sistina

The New Exclusive Campaign on 1:1 scale

Thanks to the use of Panoramic Heads numerically controlled, and also with the use of special camera lenses we have been capable of discompose the entire masterpiece of Sistine Chapel into a series of sequential close photo shoots. The result it’s a set of frames comparable to tiles of a mosaic that together comprise the entire work with very high detail level. This has allowed to access details never explored before, impossibile to see without taking the observer only inches away from the frescoes. The photographic sequences were subsequently elaborated by a stitching software and handled through computers with a really high level of computing power. For this new photographic campaign, Scripta Maneant commissioned photographers Carlo Vannini e Ghigo Roli, that completed the works, with the collaboration of partners like Canon and Roundshot and with the production manager Gianni Grandi, in January 2016.
