Ville e Palazzi di Roma
A refined journey through the history, art, and architecture of Rome, exploring the residences that have shaped its identity and splendor. From the great palaces of power and magnificence, such as the Quirinale Palace, Palazzo Corsini, and Palazzo Pamphili, to the villas that embody the elegance of the Renaissance and Baroque periods, the journey unfolds among sumptuous architecture rarely open to the public and settings of incomparable beauty.
Among these, Villa Giulia, with its nymphaeum designed by Bartolomeo Ammanati—recently featured in Paolo Sorrentino’s film “La Grazia”—Villa Borghese, home to sculptures by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, and Villa Farnesina, decorated by Raphael. Monumental fountains and spectacular gardens complete the itinerary, like authentic treasure troves of harmony and rare beauty, immortalized in the moving photographs of Massimo Listri.
