The sound of Callas, artist and woman
Exclusive images and unpublished documents narrate the unparalleled career of the Divina and the epic moments such as her debut at the Scala in 1950, the Norma in 1958 at the Opera of Rome, and the debut at the Metropolitan Opera in 1956, the Lucia di Lammermoor at the Dallas Civic Opera in 1959.
Intimate conversations and interviews with her friends and collaborators, anecdotes and photographs from personal archives introduce an unprecedented discovery of the life of the Artist beyond the stage. From her stay in Ischia with her friend Giovanna Lomazzi, to the trip to Africa with the famous writer Dacia Maraini, to the lessons at the Juilliard School di New York until the private ones held at the Soprano Sylvia Sass in Parigi.
